What is Integrative Clinical Hypnotherapy?

Integrative Clinical Hypnotherapy brings together a range of evidence-based approaches to support positive and lasting change. It is a collaborative process between therapist and client, focusing on what you want to achieve rather than dwelling on the problem. Each session is designed to draw upon your individual strengths, experiences, and inner resources, helping you move towards your preferred future with clarity and confidence.

Because the approach is integrative, it draws from several therapeutic models, including Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and elements of NLP, to create a flexible and personalised framework for your needs. Many people find that change can occur more quickly than expected when the focus is placed on possibilities, progress, and what’s already working well.

The most successful outcomes are achieved when we work together in partnership, with commitment to the process and a shared focus on developing a constructive and fulfilling future.

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural and safe state of focused attention and relaxation, where the mind becomes more open to positive suggestion and new perspectives. It is a powerful yet gentle way of engaging both the conscious and subconscious parts of the mind, supporting the changes you wish to make.

You already experience similar states in daily life - for example, when reading a book, driving a familiar route, or becoming absorbed in a creative activity. During hypnosis, you remain fully in control and aware, simply more deeply relaxed and receptive.

As your hypnotherapist, I will guide you into this relaxed state using the tone and rhythm of my voice, helping you access your own inner resources to encourage calm, confidence, and wellbeing.
